  • 1 multimedia room (12 PCs/10 study spaces)
  • 1 computer room (12 research carrels / 12 work spaces)
  • 1 conference-style training room (20 work spaces) and
  • 1 reading room (20 quiet study spaces), and also photocopying facilities.

Free wireless internet access (WLAN) is available throughout the Library.

Tips for your first visit

Your Library ID-Card is to be found on the reverse side of your Campus Card (Semesterticket), and should be activated at the loans desk prior to your first visit.

Beside the entrance to the University Library in the foyer of the University Main Building, there are over 100 lockers available for users’ bags. Please bring along your own padlock, to lock your own bag away.

On the first upper floor, you will find several computer workstations: here you can research media in our Library Catalogue, which is also available online. Once you have found what you are looking for, please note the shelfmark, and fetch the corresponding book from the shelf on the second upper floor.

It is possible to take books out on loan at the loans desk on the ground floor.
